Ballari District Chamber of Commerce and Industry Free Hospital
One of the major achievements of our chamber is in establishing "Out-Patient clinic" in our own land(measuring 40' x 12') in APMC premises of Ballari. The modern building was commissioned in the year 2013.
Day care clinic consists of 2 doctors with MBBS degree, one dentist with MDS degree, one male and female nurse.
The day care clinic is surrounded by very poor locality and almost all the residents are below poverty line, Hence, we not only arrange for free consultation, we also distribute required medicines at free of cost.
Since sanitation in the surroundings is very poor, communicable diseases are rampant part from malaria, Typhoid, Japanese, encephalitis. Many cases re brought very late due to ignorance, making our job more difficult.
The free clinic runs between 10:00AM - 6:00PM with lunch break and on an average 100 patients attend every day and the number is growing constantly. The cost of running the clinic is around Rs. one Lakh per month (All inclusive) which is funded by our chamber and by our philanthropic members.
The entire administration of the clinic is managed by Sri. B. Surendra Kumar, who is our chairman for Hospital.
The urgent need of hour is to extend the hospital infrastructure and to admit in-patients. To extend this facility, we need to build inpatient wards, minor OT's and nursing stations. Apart from the infrastructure
We need to have post-graduate docs, staff nurses, etc., we are exploring the possibility and we are sure that, we shall be able to complete our dream project for the benefit of people of Ballari.

- Evening 02:45 PM to 06:30 PM
